How to Make Spinach-Boosted Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1 box Betty Crocker Brownie Mix

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • 2 tablespoons water

  • 3 oz fresh spinach (de-stemmed, chopped fine, and squeezed dry)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven as directed on the brownie mix box and grease the bottom of the pan.

  2. Prepare the spinach: Remove stems, chop finely, and squeeze out excess moisture.

  3. Whisk the spinach into the eggs before combining with the brownie mix, oil, and water.

  4. Stir until well blended and pour into the greased pan.

  5. Bake according to the time and temperature on the package, or until a toothpick inserted 2 inches from the edge comes out almost clean.

  6. Cool, cut, and enjoy your nutrient-boosted brownies!
