Bon Society’s Green Twist on Nestlé Toll House Cookies

At Bon Society, we believe in transforming classic recipes into healthier alternatives without sacrificing flavor. By incorporating finely chopped fresh parsley, swapping out refined sugar for erythritol, and using a nutrient-packed egg substitute, we’ve given Nestlé Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies a unique, wholesome upgrade. This version adds a fresh herbal twist while keeping the cookies soft, chewy, and delicious.


Green & Guilt-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup fresh parsley leaves, finely chopped

  • 3/4 cup erythritol (or another sugar substitute)

  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened

  • Egg replacement:

    • 6 tablespoons liquid from a can of white beans

    • 2 tablespoons golden flax meal, finely ground

    • (Stir together, let sit for 15 minutes, stir again before using)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 cups Nestlé Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (as per package instructions).

  2. Whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and finely chopped parsley in a bowl.

  3. Cream together butter, erythritol, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

  4. Add the egg substitute and vanilla extract, mixing well.

  5. Gradually blend in the dry ingredient mixture.

  6. Stir in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

  7. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.

  8. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.

  9. Cool and enjoy these herb-infused, guilt-free chocolate chip cookies!
