FOUNDER OF BON SOCIETY
LINDA DOOTSON
In a world that values both health and culinary innovation, my journey has been one of learning and adapting.
My passion for food and nutrition began early in life, and working at the Boulengerie Blanc in the French Alps deepened my appreciation for fresh, high-quality ingredients. This experience shaped my belief in using wholesome, seasonal foods in cooking.
Seeing the impact of sugar-heavy processed foods and poor nutritional options in schools motivated me to advocate for healthier eating. I began experimenting with recipes to create desserts that are both tasty and better for our bodies, hoping to make healthy eating more accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Years of experimenting led me to develop desserts using natural sweeteners like dates and pureed fruits. Through my book and cooking show, I share these recipes to help others enjoy sweet treats without compromising on health.
Recipes like Blackberry Tartlets and Owl Cookies are examples of my attempt to combine flavor with nutrition. I hope to show that food can be both delicious and nourishing, and that with a bit of creativity, we can enjoy the best of both worlds.
My journey is about making small changes that lead to healthier, more satisfying eating experiences.
